How to make your stolen mobile phone unusable for thieves

Have you ever wished that your lost phone somehow became usable or useless for the thieves so that they may return the stolen phone. Well, there’s no surety about the latter part, but the Department of Telecommunications’ recently announced Sanchar Saathi service, ensures that the lost mobile devices get blocked across the country and no SIM from any telecom service provider will work on it, given it has been reported and blocked by the user.
