Byjus troubles continue, valuation falls more than 60%

BlackRock has marked down edtech major Byju's valuation to $8.2bn, down 62.7% from its October 2022 valuation of $22bn. This comes three months after the asset manager slashed the value of its holdings in the Indian company. Byju's has been in trouble since 2021 and has laid off several senior executives in verticals like strategy, technology and product.
