The report said in 2022, more than a third of premium smartphones (over Rs 50,000) applied brightness over 900 nits, registering a 171% jump year-over-year (YoY). It added that the trend of increasing brightness is gradually spreading to low-to-mid-priced smartphones. According to the report, Samsung is including bright displays in low-to-mid priced smartphones.
