Google Pixel 7, Pixel 7 Pro cannot authenticate payments via Face Unlock like iPhones: Here's why

The company says that "for secure activities like app sign-in and making payments on Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, you can use Fingerprint Unlock or rely on a strong pin or password." Google even thanks Tensor G2 on Pixel 7 for achieving good facial accuracy performance with the front-facing camera to unlock the phone.
