Google Plans to Make Android Go a Must for New Android Devices With 2GB RAM or Less: Report

Google is expected to make Android Go a must-have requirement for all newly launched phones with 2GB RAM or less, beginning from the fourth quarter of 2020. When announced in 2017, Android Go was initially designed to run on devices with 1GB RAM or less.
