Xiaomi to launch Redmi 9 in China on June 24

Xiaomi brought the Redmi 9 to Europe and the SEA region, but is yet to launch the entry-level smartphone in its domestic market. This will change on June 24, when it will be revealed to local fans, and the company promises to change the entry-level field. According to Xiaomi, 47% of the phones priced between CNY700 and CNY1,000 have only one or two cameras, while high-end smartphones are already going strong with up to five cameras on the back.
