Nokia 6.1 becomes the first to get Android 9.0 Pie OS update

HMD Global, the ‘Nokia’ smartphone maker has announced Android 9.0 Pie rollout for Nokia 6.1, the smartphone that launched in April this year. Nokia 6.1 will start receiving Android 9 Pie from today (October 30). However, it may take some time to reach all the users across the globe. It is also the first in the lineup to get Android 9 Pie. and second to receive the latest version of Android under a month after the update arrived. The first was Nokia 7 Plus (for Android Oreo).
